Style Like You

A few years ago I stumbled upon the ‘style like you’ YouTube channel, since then it has become a place for me to learn about women’s stories, self acceptance and what the true meaning of style is.

Style like you was founded by mother daughter duo Elisa Goodkind and Lily Mandelbaum. Their videos explore their theory of how true style is not the clothes you wear but what’s underneath.

The what’s underneath project-

On the Youtibe I channel the duo began asking their guests to take off the layers of their clothing. As each layer is removed a new truth is revealed to the camera. Each one of their guests felt they were looking for something that kept them from feeling beautiful and truly happy. Watching the emotional videos has helped me realise that self acceptance is vital in your own happiness.
