Italian fashion brand Fiorucci was founded in 1967. It gave Milan a taste of swinging London and American style. But he 1980s the brand was famous for the styles it brought to the US, attracting icons such as Madonna and Andy Warhol.

Back in the 1960s the brand populised Afghan coats and leopard skin prints. In 1982 the brand launched the first stretchy jeans made with Lycra and the ‘S’ pocket “safety” jeans.

A brand known for its iconic advertising which often features women in skin tight clothing or posing with unexpected objects. I absolutely love the advertising from Fiorucci. I have always had a weird obsession with the eighties and I love the references and styling the brand use in their campaigns. The bright colours really pop and I think that the props and styling really work well together and make the consumer stop and take notice.
