The Royal Wedding

After a lot of anticipation and speculation about the ins and outs of the big day it was amazing to finally see what had been kept under wraps. The royal wedding of Prince Harry to Meghan Markle was spectacular, and surprisingly emotional to watch.

Meghans dress was designed by the first ever female artistic director at Givenchy, Clare Waight Keller, along with Meghan they worked closely together on the design, epitomising a timeless minimal elegance references the codes of the iconic House of Givenchy.

I liked Meghans dress but was slightly disappointed by its simplicity, having been a massive fan of Kate Middletons wedding dress I would have liked to see something with a bit more detail. However, I thought Meghan’s veil was beautiful. Waight Keller created Meghan a veil “representing the distinctive flora of each commonwealth country united in one spectacular floral composition.”
