On Thursday me and my fragrance group had to present our final presentation for the project we had been working on since February. I was excited to show everyone what we had created, but at the same time it was sad as I knew we wouldn’t be working in a group anymore and we had all got on so well.
We first presented our final presentation to our seminar group and two of our lecturers. I felt confident in our work so wasn’t as nervous as I had been before earlier in the year. The presentation went well and our feedback was great so we went off to the pub to celebrate as a group one last time.
After a few ciders we received an email saying that our group had been chosen to present infront of the industry panel, the rest of our course and our lecturers! We were so surprised and quite nervous. After rushing back to go through our presentation a few more times we were ready to present as a team for the final time.
We sat and watched all the other groups work which was all so great, one of my favourites was ‘Mummy’s Boy’ as I loved the humour and aesthetic of their brand. Our group was last and as we were called up onto the stage I became a little nervous, however once we were talking my nerves subsided and we smashed it! We received great feedback from the industry panel and it was so interesting to see what they had to say about our ideas.
We won our category for best overall presentation and we were so happy that all our hard work had payed off!
Now we have our team t shirts to always remember our final presentation in first year
