Reflecting on university so far

As my first deadline Is due to be handed in tomorrow I feel like it is a good time to stop and look back on my time at university so far.

For me, being here now for four months, it is clear I have chosen the right course. Being surrounded by other people with as much drive and passion for the subject as I have has really given me a boost in motivation and inspires me everyday to work as hard as I can.

Listening to them in lectures and interacting with them in seminars, I find my tutors and lecturers captivating. From leaving sixth form and coming to university it has been so refreshing to see the passion and love my teachers have for the course subject. I really feel driven to achieve my goals and grab every opportunity.

Working and growing in such a positive work environment has benefited me so much already. I am excited to get up in the morning and discover new projects and new insights which I didn’t know before.

The trip to New York City has also had a much larger impact on me than I ever could have imagined. Just being there in a city full of opportunities where people work hard to achieve their goals, really made me re evaluate what is important to me and made it clear to me what my goals are.

This year I am even more determined to focus all my energy on improving myself and developing my knowledge around my course. I have given myself aims of reading more and really keeping on top of my blog. I never knew how much I would enjoy being able to document my experiences and feelings on here! I have also realised my love for photography since the trip to New York and will definitely try to take my camera out with me whenever I can.

With these new goals and a strong urge to succeed I hope to improve my skills and and develop my confidence and knowledge even further during the second part of my module.
