On the second day in New York we started the day off by eating in By Chloe and exploring Soho. There was a lot of street art around this area too, once we had been round Soho we took a trip down Broadway to a few shops where we met some very enthusiastic sales assistants. As all of us are obsessed with the tv show Friends, we couldn’t miss the opportunity to go and take some photos of the building Central Perk was based off.
Later on, we walked a good length of the highline in the evening and finished at Chelsea market where we had dinner. After eating we headed to the museum at FIT to see the fashion exhibition ‘The Body: Fashion and Physique’, all about how the silhouette has changed over the years, although a very small exhibition it was still really interesting to see how the silhouette of the clothes we wear has changed so rapidly. The clothing in the exhibition was also amazing featuring designs by Dior and Thierry Mugler.
