Monday Swimwear

Seeing strong, successful, independent women achieve what they want in the workplace really inspires me to work hard and achieve my own goals. For me the creators of my favourite swimwear brand Monday Swimwear, Natasha Oakley and Devin Brugman are among those that inspire me the most. After discovering their brand through Instagram a few years back, its safe to say that I have become a little obsessed with them, their company and their work ethic. Starting up their swimwear company to help women feel more confident in their own bodies and push for a wider acceptance of body positivity, they created a swimwear range which caters for ladies with a bigger bust and really strive to make every customer that buys their products feel included and beautiful. As best friends, its inspiring to see women work together and boost each other up, rather than dragging each other down. Most of the Monday Swimwear team consists of women and its really interesting to see how as a company they have instilled the values of female empowerment into the brand. 

For the days you're not in a bikini, Tash and Dev have created the Monday Active line of sportswear. As both a company and individually, Tash and Dev promote a clean and healthy lifestyle, uploading Instagram stories of their workout routines, so their followers can join in and learn their workout plans, which are created by Gilles Souteyrand. 

The girls really focus on the quality and performance of their products and are really involved in the whole process of creating their products. From designing and choosing fabric, to shooting and modelling each of their collections, it’s really clear to see all of the hard work they have put into their brand. Their high spirits and positive energy really come across through their social media platforms, reminding me to be as kind and positive in my everyday life as I possibly can. 

I am glad that I have been able to follow the hard work of women like Tash and Dev, it has inspired me to work hard and achieve my goals. It's always easy to think that your work will never be good enough, or that your goals and dreams are not possible, but to me its clear that if you work hard and put all your passion into what you do there is no way you can fail.
