As a tribute to the twentieth anniversary of her brother's death, Donatella Versace created a show focused on the classic Versace collections between 1991-1995. Donatella also surprised the audience with five of the original supermodels walking the runway at the end of the show to George Michael's Freedom. Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford, Claudia Schiffer, Helena Christensen and Carla Bruni were joined by Donatella for the final walk of the runway. This
The S/S18 show also feautured a voiceover repeating Donatella's thanks for her brother's life work and kindness while the models stormed down the runway. Along side the bold prints Versace are known for, a number of embellished looks inspired by Andy Wharhol's pop art portraits of Marilyn Monroe were seen, as well as head to toe prints of vogue covers. These looks really stood out on the runway, and gave a real tribute to Gianni.

To me I feel that Donatella did an amazing job of capturing Gianni's legacy and reminding everyone of his amazing contribution to the fashion industry. The clothes were classic of Versace and really made an impact down the runway. The supermodels at the end of the show walking to George Michael was also reminiscent of the 1991 Gianni show when they walked down the runway while George Michael sat front row.
